Swedish Massage

The most common form of massage, through varying pressures and longer strokes, Swedish mainly increases circulation, relaxes the muscles and eases aches and pains.

 

Zone Balance Therapy

(ZBT) is a highly sophisticated and powerfully effective holistic health form that balances the body’s natural signal system through techniques performed on the client’s feet.

 

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints). For the client who’s conditions warrant deep muscle treatment and suffer from chronic muscle aches and tension.

 

Myoskeletal Alignment

Is a type of bodywork which blends the principles of osteopathy and structural integration to relieve chronic pain and to reduce the potential for the emergence of pain which could become chronic over time. This technique is often integrated into regular massage and bodywork sessions and it can also be used alone to treat systemic problems. Focus of this technique is on back and neck pain in particular, sine this type of pain is extremely common in the industrialized world.

 

LomiLomi Massage

Meaning “masseur, masseuse” in the Hawaiian language, is the word used today to describe Hawaiian massage, traditionally called lomi, meaning “to rub, press, squeeze, massage; to work in and out, as the claws of a contented cat”. Lomilomi is a holistic healing tradition beyond simple massage.

 

Maternity Massage
